Terms and conditions of sale
01Overview
These terms apply to all purchases made directly from Forge Class Software Ltd (company number 16547331) (“we”, “us”, or “our”), including software licences for the Forge Class Publisher Converter and any other products we sell.
02Licensing
All software is licensed, not sold. When you purchase a licence, you are granted the right to use the software within your organisation, in accordance with the licence type selected (for example Primary or Secondary School).
Licences are non-transferable and limited to the purchasing institution. Unauthorised redistribution or resale is prohibited.
03Payment terms
For schools and organisations paying by Purchase Order, payment is due within 30 days of the invoice date.
If payment is not received, we reserve the right to suspend or deactivate the licence until payment is made.
For payments made by card through Stripe, access is provided immediately upon successful payment.
04Refunds
Due to the nature of digital products, we do not offer refunds once a licence key has been issued, unless required by law. If you experience technical issues, please contact us and we will do our best to resolve them promptly.
05Support
We provide email-based and phone-based technical support for our products. While we aim to resolve issues quickly, response times may vary during school holidays and peak periods.
06Software updates
Licensed users will receive access to all minor updates and patches. Major upgrades may be subject to additional charges, unless otherwise stated.
07Liability
Our software is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including data loss or business interruption.
08Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
