Residents report problems on a map

Residents tap the map where the problem is, say what it is and add a photo. Everyone can see what's already been reported and what happened to it, which cuts duplicate emails.

Try itTap an empty spot right next to the fly-tipping pin, then choose Fly-tipping as the problem.

Lowfield Town Council and its reports are invented. The map is a real map of Walkley in Sheffield.

What this demo does

  • Shows every open report on a real map, filtered by status.
  • Takes a new report with a category, a note and a photo.
  • Warns when someone reports something already on the map nearby.
  • Says which council deals with each kind of problem.

What a real one adds

  • Reports emailed to the right person, or passed to the city or county council for theirs.
  • Updates to the resident who reported it, if they left an email address.
  • A staff page to change status and add notes.
  • Photos checked by staff before they're shown publicly.

What it costs

Usually a web or mobile app: £4,000 to £12,000.

Built for your business, with your content, your branding and the parts you need. Every build starts with a free conversation and a fixed quote, and you own the code.

Questions people ask

Many of these problems are the city or county council's job.
The form knows which council deals with each kind of problem. Those for the bigger council are passed on, and the resident is told who has it.
Do residents need an account?
No. They can leave an email address to hear what happens, or report without one.
What about privacy in photos and locations?
Photos are checked by staff before they're shown, and reports at people's homes can be shown at street level rather than on the exact spot.
